5 places we ate and drank $1 beers in Boracay

So, the $1 beers were from the supermarket or roadside convenience shacks (like the one below found behind Diniwid beach), but drinks in restaurants are pretty cheap too. We would recommend eating or drinking at the following places while you’re on this beautiful island.

1. Spider House

Head to the far end of Station One on White Beach and then keep going to the far end of Diniwid Beach, the next bay round. When you’ve reached the end of the beach, go through the cliffs (you’ll get it when you go) and have a decent pizza in one of the top settings on the island. The place is a resort, but the restaurant is open to everyone and the view is epic. Wash your pizza down with a swim.

2. Boracay Terraces Resort

There’s no sign as such, but Boracay Terraces Resort is the closest location we can find on google. We headed here for a sundowner on our last night and were blown away by the talent, firstly on the guitar and then another dude on the piano while we ate our dinner. Food was ok, but the drinks were good and the location is great, right down the far end of Station One on White Beach.

3. Cyma

Located in the pedestrian mall on the island, this Greek restaurant is pretty decent considering how far from Greece you are. We ate lunch here and recommend the Gyros for 195PHP any day.  Wash it down with a San Miguel.

4. Real Coffee

Finding a decent coffee in Boracay is a mission. Given we’d flown straight from Vietnam where the good coffee was abundant we needed a hit. Real Coffee was recommended as the place to get it on the island. While the views were to die for, the coffee itself are a secondary reason to visit. But hey, when you’re desperate.  We’d love to know if anyone finds better coffee for our next visit.

5. Jonah’s Fruit Shakes

Best. Shake. Ever. Head up the beach in Station 1 and get the drinks to go. You’ve never had fruit shakes like it. Pineapple and Mango is my shizz.
